This is why I teach

After we said the pledge this morning I settled at my computer to take attendance and I noticed a neatly folded piece of notebook paper on my desk. It read:
Dear techer,
thak you for your hard work because you are making me
smarter every day and I like that and you are the Best Best Best Best Best
techer I ever had. I like that you tech us every day.
Sincerily.
M-----

I like that I get to teach them everyday.

First, thanks for your comment on my blog. Second, sorry to hear about your husband's car problems, but yay on getting a new car! Finally, congrats on the lovely letter from your student. That always makes what we do in the classroom well worth it!

Dee you are the most awesome teacher I know! I'm glad to hear that at least one of your students knows exactly how lucky he/she is.

Teacher Dee,
That student isn't the only one who thinks you're a great teacher. =) I happen to think the same thing! You are a blessing to all of your students - they are so fortunate to have such a dedicated and intelligent teacher. Boy, you must have had an awesome lead teacher that taught you a few things! Ha ha ha!

Oh my goodness, THAT is the sweetest thing. What a wonderful child to not not only recognize the difference you are making....but to communicate their appreciation. Ahhhhhhhhh- there is hope the world!

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Awww! That is super cute. I just recently wrote letters to two of my favorite teachers from grade school. I got a lovely letter from one of them afterwards that pretty nearly made me cry.
